Swarn Gauri Vrat Or Hariyali Teej

Hariyali Teej is celebrated on Shravan Sudi Teej. This day Devi Bhavani is worshiped. It is women’s festival and it is supposed to give them both Bhoga and Moksha (materialistic life and spiritual growth).

This festival is much popular in villages and towns, girls and women worship Devi Bhavani then whole day enjoy each other company: हाथो में मेहँदी लगाना, सजना सवरना, रंगोली बनाना, झूला झूलना, गीत गाना, साथ साथ मेले में जाना और फिर शाम को मंदिर जाना.

In few words this festival is sort of spiritual entertainment: getting together, partying, bhajn-kirtan, shopping and merry making. As this festival has spiritual tint — things are in control while enjoying everything.

Nyas means to establish something (Devi / Devta energy) in our body: it purifies our body and makes our body and mind worthy of chanting a mantra / stotra.
