Here are some safety tips for children, men, women and old people that may help for celebrating Holi in more joyous and entertaining ways.
- Don’t leave your home: stay at your home during Holi, celebrate it there use Smartphone to connect with relative and distant people.
- Wear proper clothes: don’t wear shorts and sleeveless garments (for everyone, men, women and children) ‘coz color/gulal may stick at exposed area, and may damage your skin.
- Try to cover your hair with a cap, ‘coz gulal/color may stick up there easily, and you may get headache and worst thing is, it damages the skin, and weakens the roots of your hair.
- Hand nails: cover your nail with nail-paint, after playing Holi remove nail-paint by nail-paint remover that’s easily available in the market.
- Don’t eat everywhere: if you make a visit in every home of your street, avoid eating everywhere — different things at a time, may upset your stomach.
- Don’t use cheap and synthetic color, be royal — use natural color as, Kesar, Gorochan, Ashta-Gandh, Rose, Haldi (Turmeric) and so on.
- Close yourself in a room: if you are unwell, fever or some other problem, better is to close yourself in a room. Be dry, clean and cozy.
