Rambha is an Apsara, supposed to be more beautiful than any Hollywood-Bollywood actress or supermodel. She is also one of fourteen Ratnas that came out from Samudra-Manthan. She not only represents beauty but many aspects of life: good health, long life, always looking young, vigour, stamina, black hair, flexibility, glowing skin, sweet voice, fragrance in presence, attraction and in few words she improves the quality of life.
People celebrate Rambha Tritiya on Jestha Sudi Teej to improve quality of life so that their teeth could stay longer, their hair couldn’t turn grey, their bones remained working, and their skin always looked tight and fresh.
This day people should worship their deity, feed the poor and donate them some money, food and other things essential to life.
P.S.: There is a Rambha Sadhana which interested people should do in an expert guidance. There are also kinds of Apsaras in history, but Rambha and Urvashi are much popular. They also have the capacity of giving a curse, as happened with Arjuna; so one should take a note in advance of what kind of behaviour is expected before going ahead in such Sadhanas.
