When a thankless man deceives you, he should get some punishment — this story is something like that.
A man was moving in a jungle, he heard some crying and looked down in a well: he found inside, a lion, a monkey, a snake and a goldsmith. All of them were crying for a rescue, they again and again asked this man to help them come out of the well.
This man thought that lion didn’t kill the goldsmith and snake didn’t bite him, there should be no harm in helping them come out. He pulled out everyone, one by one — and everyone promised to help him in exchange.
First he went to the monkey. Monkey gave him many delicious fruits to eat and told about many rare plants for medicinal purpose. Then he moved to the lion; lion gave him jewelry made of pure gold. He then thought about goldsmith to sell this jewelry, he went to the goldsmith. Goldsmith immediately recognized this jewelry belonged to late prince. He secretly informed the king; and the king arrested this man (thinking him the killer of his son) and sentenced to death next morning.
Lastly the man thought about the snake (as it could read the thoughts from a distance), the snake appeared. Knowing everything snake said, “ I bite the queen to death, and you will bring her to life by mere touch of your hand; this way your life will be saved.“
The snake bit the queen, the king arranged all kinds of doctors but they couldn't bring queen to life. Lastly this man brought queen to life, the king was pleased and asked him all the details regarding jewelry — the man told everything, what had happened with him in the jungle. King believed in him: the goldsmith was arrested and the man was given lots of things in reward.
