लोग अधिकतर विश्वास के ऊपर ही ये पथ्थर वगैरहा खरीदते हैं। And many times same quality and weight stone is sold in different price range. It’s okay for somewhat variation in price-range. But what will you do when your stone is fake ? And you don’t know how to check it or test it before buying.
In fact nothing happens when after buying we find out that our stone is fake. So these things should be tested before paying the bill. For checking Moonga Stone, that is Red Coral, here is a simple trick.
Just take a Nimbu (नींबू), pour its juice in some part over Moonga, and wait for a minute — if the Moonga is original, it will loose its color (it may turn white or light in color). If Moonga is fake nothing will happen.
Please note that Moonga is not stone, it is made out of wood in which some kind of insect lives, over time part of wood turns in Moonga and that is taken out.
