If you live in India, you may find Homeopathy doctors sitting at Sai Baba or other temples — where they charge just for medicines. You may not find Allopathy (MBBS) doctors sitting temple to temple.
This is just my personal observation, if you are a Homeopathy (DHMS / BHMS, MD, Phd, etc.) doctor, pls don’t get offended ‘coz I’ve seen Homeopathy doctors don’t earn much at the start of their career, people hardly go to them — so for their advertisement, they try to find out some shelter in temple/s. Once they are popular, chances of their income increase (it isn’t the case with everyone). Apart from private practice, other route of income is to apply for Medical Officer in government sector or work as a faculty.
Transparency To Patients
In my experience, doctors of Allopathy are much transparent than doctors of Homeopathy. In Allopathy, patients have the prescription in their hand and know what salt and composition are about to go in their body. But with Homeopathy, this is hardly the case, patients don't know about anything, whatever history is written, is written in the doctor’s file; in the name of prescription (name of the medicines), patient has “zero” knowledge.
In my opinion, every time whenever a Homeopathy doctor gives medicines to a patient, name of the medicine/s should be given in written — so that patient’s body & mind could understand that it is just not the sweet pills or alcohol but powerful potency of medicine works behind them.
