Holi Geet, Sangeet, Dance & Masti

 People celebrate Holi in their own way, no matter they are rich or poor, everyone knows how to celebrate. These days you just need a smartphone (mp3 loaded in it or internet connection), an aux cable (or bluetooth connectivity) and tower speakers — with this you are all set to music and masti.

With Dhool, where two or three people play in symphony, has its own unique flavor— though it is expensive (‘coz they charge money), but it the most favorite. Some people play Dholak or Dholak with Harmonium. Actually no one wants to miss the enjoyment, even without musical instrument people just sing and dance.

Mahila Sangeet: They enjoy by singing and dancing with or without Dholak. Men aren’t allowed there. It generally doesn't go for long, ‘coz they have to take care of their children and family.

Bhang Numbers: They are full of masti, played where people come together to celebrate Holi.

Actor Special: Some people listen Holi songs of their favorite actors like Amitabh Bacchan or say, Rajesh Khanna. Old Holi songs are very good, they are played most of the time.

Holy Numbers Juke Box: You may find them on YouTube, just select 4-5 juke box for Holi songs — and they will be more than enough for a day.

Essential Nyas For A Sadhak To Do Everyday

Nyas means to establish something (Devi / Devta energy) in our body: it purifies our body and makes our body and mind worthy of chanting a mantra / stotra. A Sadhak should do भूत-शुद्धि, बहिर्मातृका न्यास, अन्तर्मातृका न्यास, and षोढा-न्यास daily, 'coz we worship Devta by becoming a Devta, and in that Nyas helps us a lot. In every mantra generally many kinds of Nyas are given prior to chanting a mantra, they are usually shorter and doesn't take much time. They are essential and shouldn't be skipped. These  भूत-शुद्धि, बहिर्मातृका न्यास, अन्तर्मातृका न्यास, and षोढा-न्यास take comparatively longer time duration.  भूत-शुद्धि means purification of five elements in our body, that is Earth (Prithvi), Water (Jal), Fire (Agni), Air (Vayu), and Ether (Aakash). बहिर्मातृका Nyas and अन्तर्मातृका Nyas, establish  "energy of our VarnMala" in our body-parts and in our chakras respectively.   षोढा-न्यास is of two types Lagu Shoda Nyas and Maha Shoda Nyas.

Why Two Types Of Navratri Are More Popular

Navratri comes four times in a year: 1) In Chitra (Vasant) Maas, 2) In Sharad (Ashwin) Maas, 3) In Ashadha (आषाढ़) Maas, and 4) in Magh Maas. As it is written in the following Shaloka: चैत्रे आश्विने तथाषाढे, माघे कार्यों महोत्सवः। नव रात्रे महाराज! पूजा कार्या विशेषतः ।।  Generally, we are told that two Navratri are for public and rest two Navratri are called Gupt Navratri. These two Gupt Navratri are for the Sadhak --- but it isn't the exact fact. All four Navratri are for general public and for all dedicated Devi Sadhak, there is no secret. Fact is during the time of Chaitra and Sharad, weather changes a lot -- so there are chances of getting diseases. 10% Ten Percent Jaap / Japa Of Ang Devata

An Isht Devi or Isht Devata isn't alone they have their own company (called Ang Devatas), and whatever work is to be done, it is all done by Ang Devatas -- main Isht Devi / Devta remains like a Queen / King. So to take help from Ang Devtas it is a good thing to do their Mantra Japa / Homa / Tarpan also. In Yantra Avaran Puja (of your deity), you may find the list of Ang Devatas. Apart from Ang Devata, in some Guru Parampara it is said that mantra of a male or female deity shouldn't be chanted alone. For example, if you chant 100 mala of a Devi mantra then 10% of it that is 10 mala should be chanted of a male deity mantra. Or if you chant 100 mala of male deity mantra then 10 mala should be chanted of a female deity mantra, like that.
