Hanuman ji lives for lord Rama; and Arjuna is devoted to lord Krishna. Once both Hanuman ji and Arjuna had some issue over a bridge, made of arrows. Arjuna told Hanuman ji that a bride could be made of arrows to cross a river; and using his skills he built a bridge of arrows. When he was making bridge, Hanuman ji was just chanting “Ram Ram”, after a while bride was ready to use. As soon as Hanuman ji put a step on it, it broke into pieces. Arjuna felt ashamed.
Arjuna thought “what the error he made during making a bridge”, and he quickly knew that he forgot lord Krishna while shooting the arrows. Second time he made the bridge, each arrow he shot, he shot in the name of lord Krishna. When the bridge was ready, it could not be broken, Hanuman ji used it many times and felt pleased.
Arjuna understood that the earlier bridge was broken so easily ‘coz it was built with ego; and the second time, it could not be broken ‘coz it was built with devotion to lord Krishna.
