Alibaba And 40 Chor — Greed Causes Disaster

An uneducated man called Alibaba lived in a village, on his donkey he used to roam everywhere. Once he went in a jungle and saw 40 Chor (thieves), on of them stood at front of a cave and spoke “Khul Ja Sim Sim”, the gate of the cave opened, and they entered. Alibaba was fearful, he hid himself behind some trees, and after an hour returned his home.

Alibaba kept spying on them for several weeks, and he knew that the password to open the cave is “Khul Ja Sim Sim”, and the password to close the cave is “Band Ho Ja Sim Sim”; he also knew there was lots of money, gold, gems and jewellery inside the cave, looted by the thieves.

One day when thieves had gone, Alibaba entered the cave using the password, whatever money and gold he could collect, he collected, put everything on the donkey and returned his home. Alibaba kept on going to cave time to time, taking all the precaution and carefulness. Meanwhile the thieves knew someone was entering the cave behind their back, so they were angry.

One man couldn’t digest the instant riches of Alibaba, so he followed Alibaba everywhere and knew all the details including password to open and close the cave.

One day, when the thieves had gone, this man entered the cave using the password “Khul Ja Sim Sim”, then he closed the cave by saying “Band Ho Ja Sim Sim”. He collected lots of money. He was happy. He wanted to be richer than Alibaba, so it took hours to collect that money. And when he was about to leave the cave, he forgot the password to open it. He lived inside the cave until the thieves returned. And what thieves did to him, they killed him. The had found the one who was stealing their money.

Give yourself completely to whatever you like for three years -- let it be your career, business, health or any other thing of life. Why three years, exactly? Because what is the advantage of sticking to something which isn't giving any result. Time is precious, don't waste if the results aren't coming. Why not less than three years?
